5 STAND -
The
5-stand will be opening again soon. Jim Dorsey is planning a
Sunday operation between 10 am and 2 pm. Please see Jim if
you can help with his efforts to get the 5-stand up and running.
ALL FIELDS PICK UP YOUR EMPTY HULLS. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY. THEY ARE A SAFETY HAZARD TO THOSE VOLUNTEERING TO REMOVE SNOW AND CUT GRASS AS THEY BECOME PROJECTILES FROM SNOW BLOWERS AND MOWERS. IF YOU SEE SOMEONE LEAVING SHELLS ON THE GROUND, GIVE THEM A FRIENDLY REMINDER TO PICK UP AFTER THEMSELVES.

Plate Shoots-- June 10 - Rifle; July 15 Pistol; August 12-
Rifle; September 16 - Pistol; October 14 - Rifle
Silhouette Shoots will immediately follow all plate shoots--Rams at 100 yards, Turkeys at 75 yards, Pigs at 50 yards and Chickens at 25 yards
.22 rimfire only, no hyper velocity or .22 magnums are allowed. Eye and hearing protection is required. Actions must be open when not shooting.
Anyone who would like to volunteer to help and earn some work hours should contact Ed Hackney (821.0190), Dan Souza (785.0636) or Brad Soper (885.2362). Target setters are needed or you can train as a safety monitor. The shoots are about 3 hours long.
Reminder - guests are only allowed to use the rifle range on weekends.
A second flag must be
posted at the 50 yard line so the members on the 25 yard line can
see if someone is down field
Please Clean your target frames! Remove targets and change cardboard when needed. Members are also reminded the only shotgun shooting at the rifle range is to sight-in slug guns. There is a pattern board to the right of the trap/skeet fields for the purpose of patterning.

THE SPEED LIMIT ON AUSTIN ROAD IS 25 MPH
THE DUMPSTER AT THE TRAP/SKEET FIELD IS FOR CARDBOARD ONLY. All other trash should be placed in the dumpster across from the main clubhouse.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE TO BE CONSUMED ON CLUB PROPERTY BY ANY MEMBER/GUEST UNTIL THAT MEMBER/GUEST HAS COMPLETED ALL SHOOTING ACTIVITIES FOR THE DAY. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY ONLY BE CONSUMED IN THE MAIN CLUBHOUSE AND ARE PROHIBITED ELSEWHERE ON THE GROUNDS.
